蜀犬吠日shǔ quǎn fèi rì

◎唐 · 韩愈《与韦中立论师道书》：“蜀中山高雾重，见日时少；每至日出，则群犬疑而吠之也。”柳宗元《答韦中立论师道书》：“屈子赋曰：邑犬群吠，吠所怪也。仆往闻庸蜀之南，恒雨少日，日出则犬吠。”后遂以“蜀犬吠日”比喻少见多怪。

◎四川多云雾，偶而太阳破云而出，不常见到太阳的蜀犬，竟受惊吓而向日狂吠。语本唐 · 岑参〈招北客文〉：“终年霖霪，时复日出，狺狺诸犬，向天吠日。”后用以比喻少见多怪。
